“Vila Trubadur” is our soul project, our dearest adventure so far. Starting from the idea of creating the perfect location for living, as well as for spending holiday, we believe we have achieved our goal: a house full of warmth and wonderful people, a home, in which any guests that steps in will experience his or hers most beautiful holiday.

Located only two kilometres from the Bran Castle, and one kilometre from the Zanoaga ski slope, Vila Trubadur offers its guests unforgettable moments, splendid landscapes and multiple activities for relaxation and leisure, regardless of the season.

Facilities

Newly built, our villa stand out through its refinement and good taste decorations. All rooms have their own bathroom, terrace, Smart TV/cable and internet access.

Here you can relax listening to the soothing sound of the two streams that cross the villa’s yard on both its sides, or you can spend your free time in the outdoor pavilion, on the terrace, in the common living room or in the SPA area. Heat and hot water are provided 24 hours a day by our own boiler.

The ground floor is equipped with a functional wood fireplace that creates a special atmosphere in the winter season and in the cold summer evenings. Also, here you have the following at your disposal: 4K Smart TV and Smart audio-video system, books and board games (rummy, backgammon, chess, playing cards, darts and many others).

Tariffs

Vila Truabdur adheres to the “ADULTS ONLY” concept – the access to children under 14 years old is not allowed! Children over 14 years old are part of the “adult” category. The rooms, individually or all of them, cannot be booked for a single night only – two nights minimum.

The prices shown in the “Rooms” section cover the accommodation, breakfast, parking, and common spaces usage. For access to the jacuzzi the cost is 25 lei/person, while for the exterior sauna a fee of 50 lei/person (minimum 2 persons) is charged. The spa area can be used by our guests during the following time frame: 10:30 – 22:00.

Meals’ prices:

Lunch/person: 40 lei
Dinner/person: 100 lei

Our restaurant operates in a closed circuit regime, for our staying guests only. We can offer you half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (only for organized groups) meals options. Each day’s menu will be decided upon by the hosts together with the guests, and will be the same menu for everyone staying at the villa. We try to offer you as many ecological products as possible, coming from the local producers in the Bran area.

Breakfast will be served between 08:30-10:30 and is comprised of: bread, butter, yogurt, milk, vegetables, cold meats, eggs, cheeses, water, coffee, and tea.

Lunch will consist of soup and dessert, served between 14:00-15:00. The dinner will consist of a main course and dessert, and will be served between 18:30-20:30. The recipes and dishes are all part of the traditional Romanian cuisine, cooked the same day they are served.

At lunch and dinner we offer for free spring water by the carafe, and a glass of Romanian traditional spirits (“tuica” or “visinata”), of your choice. The complete list of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, as well as their prices, can be consulted here.

A little guide for our guests

The following lines represent a guide for our guests, from the Tulpan family, we who take care of Vila Trubadur as of our own home.

Vila Trubadur is a newly renovated location, a dream for whose achievement a lot of work has been put into it. Our rooms have been decorated and adjusted one by one, in a personal and authentic manner, to exude the warmth of our home. We believe that we have succeeded in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment, perfect for your holiday up into the mountains.

We have countless stories, we are blessed with travellers that become our friends, and we have nothing but respect for those who step into our home. However, we also have couple of rules, or better said a small holiday guide for those who wish to become our guests.

Paying

The stays booked through Booking.com will be paid online, in full, using the options and payment systems used by the website. For reservations made by phone or email, a 50% advance payment is necessary in order to confirm them. The remaining amount will be paid at the location, at the time of the check-in.

At location you can pay either by cash, by card, or using holiday tickets issued by our partners, Sodexo, Edenred, or Up Romania.

Rooms

Each room is special in its own way. Please help us preserve their charm and their individuality. There is a special connection between all the objects in each room and we do not want to break this connection.

New and clean towels are waiting for you in the SPA area, there is no need to bring the ones from your room.

We cannot provide “accommodation” for perishable food products or alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in the refrigerators inside the villa.

Breakfast

Morning coffee is on the house, until 11.00 A.M. The buffet-style breakfast is included in the room price. If there are dietary restrictions or preferences, you can communicate these aspects to us beforehand and we will make sure that everything is to your liking.

Access to the kitchen is prohibited to people who are not part of our team!

BBQ Area

The BBQ area can be freely used by our guests. If there are several people from different groups who want to use the BBQ, we will organise in such a way that everyone will be able to enjoy the area.

You can buy wood and coal directly from the location.

Music

The guests of Vila Trubadur have the option of listening to their desired music on our audio systems available in the common indoor recreation areas only if the villa is rented entirely by a single group of tourists.

We ask that the quiet hours will be respected, and that the volume will be lowered when the night approaches.

Also, our guests can use their own portable sound systems in the outer perimeter, with the same requests that the quiet hours are respected, and the volume does not disturb our neighbours.

The SPA area has its own sound system, turned on when you will enjoy the sauna or the outdoor jacuzzi.

Pets

We love animals, but we do not have the facilities to accommodate them.

Services

We enjoy having our guests here with us and we are always attentive to their needs. However, we kindly ask you not to confuse this kindness of the staff with a duty of our team to be at your disposal 24/7. A rented room does not, in any given case, represents a property title.

If you have read our little guide and it did not upset you, it means that you are in the right place for your holiday. Otherwise, we are sure that we will never be the right hosts for your vacation.

Virtually, we considered it essential to inform our potential guests about the the characteristics of the place, the atmosphere we want to maintain, as well as the rules by which we operate.
